Recent Paintings
These recent abstract paintings contain layers of glazed transparent colors, a variety of forms, and ambiguity of space and always chaos. During my painting explorations I often make accidental discoveries that are very exciting so I include them in my artwork. One of those discoveries was a type of grid that I began to include in some of my work; it was not used in my early works, but was discovered out of my many painting investigations.
My approach to the abstract painting process does not allow me to have perceived ideas of the end result of a painting, part of the joy and excitement of abstract painting is the surprising end result.
